Is this maybe not suitable for packaging for some mysterious reason, or is this simply undiscovered by any potential packagers yet?
I am wondering since this is usually the kind of stuff that's very quickly packaged.

Packages get packaged when a packager wants to package. Seemingly no one of the currently active packagers felt the need to do so, if you mean to bring this to the AUR, feel free to be the change you want to be.
