How to change to Arch64?

I'm now using arch32 on my sempron 64bit box.

I want to change the system to arch64 because it's very strong now.

But I don't want a reinstall - I've been working on this system for a year.

How can I do it?

I have change the compile options in /etc/makepkg.conf to fit my cpu, but I don't have lib64.

you will have to reinstall. anything else will probably break your system. make a list of all your installed packages and backup /etc and /home and maybe /var and /usr/local. good luck and have fun with ArchLinux x86_64.

OK. I'll see when I have a full day free, then I do the reinstall.

I'm still worrying if the reinstall will cause any big problem in compatibility.
