Arch linux uefi install

I can't connect to my wlan0
It stays down dormant
Can't up it using 'ip link set wlan0 up'

Please post the output of ip link and ip addr


Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

use IWD to validate an SSID's credentials.

iwctl 

then while in the interactive prompt

station wlan0 connect "SSID"

then

dhcpcd wlan0
ping google.com

lemme know what happens

No, do not use dhcpcd. The ISO already has systemd-networkd running for dhcp.
