[Solved] Orphan or delete multilib packages ?

I have several multilib / lib32-* packages in AUR but haven't used them since wow64 became the wine default .

No one has commented on them since then, so it seems they're not used anymore.
In theory they could still be useful for steam proton users.

I'm considering to stop maintaining them but am not sure if I should file delete requests or just orphan them.
What do you think ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Re: [Solved] Orphan or delete multilib packages ?

steam itself is a 32bit application and requires 32bit to be present to launch older 32bit games - this is true for both proton as well as 32bit native linux builds (although i have to admit neither do i know any nor am i aware about if and how many of such are distributed)

tldr: it's one of those rare usecases where a few enthusiasts stuck in the 90s or early 00s which still rely on a lot of old 32bit stuff
so, just because there's nothin directly linking to them just deleting them will cause issues and topics about how to get those working - as the aur provides it i guess orphan would be better for now

Thanks for the good advise, I disowned my multilib packages.
