ATI fglrx issues w. radeon mobility X700

Hello,

I have been trying to get this going with my laptop for a couple of days now with no luck.

When i run      $ LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo > /dev/null i get:

Xlib:  extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
libGL error: XF86DRIQueryDirectRenderingCapable failed

The solution in the wiki to the second error is to run hwdetect --show-agp which gives me no results at all, and i can't find any help with the first error.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Can you post your /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /var/log/Xorg.0.log please?
