Hi,
While trying to setup fprintd with my laptop I encountered an issue. The fingerprint reader is on their supported devices (USB id: 10a5:a305).
During the first setup I enrolled my right index finger, and then I stupidly rerun the command and re-enrolled it. I got the enroll-duplicate "error", and something must have broken at that point.
Since then the list shows me no enrolled fingers, and when trying to re-enroll it I get the same duplicate error.
I tried to delete all fingerprints both by manually deleting the folder and running fprintd-delete. I also tried to remove the package, reboot, and reinstall but the problem persists.
Here is what happens when trying to enroll my right index again :
SwissCat@TheNerdFunkyFrog ~> fprintd-list $USER
found 1 devices
Device at /net/reactivated/Fprint/Device/0
Using device /net/reactivated/Fprint/Device/0
User SwissCat has no fingers enrolled for FPC L:0000 FW:1425046.
SwissCat@TheNerdFunkyFrog ~> fprintd-enroll $user
