Hi, I'm getting an error message when upgrading

:: installing libjpeg-turbo (3.2.0-2) breaks dependency 'libjpeg' required by webkit2gtk-5.0libjpeg is not installed, looks like it has been replaced with libjpeg-turbo in the last upgrade. But I see webkit2gtk-5.0 still 'Depends On' libjpeg:
pacman -Qi webkit2gtk-5.0

Install Reason : Installed as a dependency for another package
Install Script : No
Validated By : SignatureBy the above the webkit2gtk-5.0 was installed as a dependency for another package but currently is not 'Required By' anything. Is it safe to remove the package? Or is it a meta package and there is some other fix?
The other observation is that the search for 'webkit2gtk' on Arch Package database gives me only webkit2gtk-4.1. https://archlinux.org/packages/?sort=&q … =&flagged=
I have 4.1 installed and it correctly depends on libjpeg-turbo.
Not sure if webkit2gtk-5.0 no longer supported (since it not in the package DB list) as the version is newer than 4.1.

It is safe to remove. In fact, you should regularly clean up any "orphan" packages.
Sakura:-
Mobo: MSI MAG X570S TORPEDO MAX // Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X @4.9GHz // GFX: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT // RAM: 32GB (4x 8GB) Corsair DDR4 (@ 3000MHz) // Storage: 1x 3TB HDD, 6x 1TB SSD, 2x 120GB SSD, 1x 275GB M2 SSD
Making lemonade from lemons since 2015.

Thank you! Removing the package resolved the issue. And, today I learned about the regular clean up of orphan packages, it turns out I have quite a lot of them over the years of using Arch.
I appreciate your help ![]()
