Re: synaptics touchpad problem

cool

Glad you found it wink

I don't know if you are using the synaptics touchpad already for a longer time,  but in fact in combination with the synaptics driver and a little learning to work with it, you can work very fast with it.
About as fast as with a mouse, although I still prefer my usb mouse....

Re: synaptics touchpad problem

How do i disable this horizontal scroll at the bottom edge? I have dedicated scroll buttons(acer laptop) and have no need for this 'feature.'

Re: synaptics touchpad problem

set the value of HorizScrollDelta to zero in the touchpads InputDevice Section xorg.conf,
or add the whole line if it doesn't exist.

Option "HorizScrollDelta" "0"

edit:
there are also some GUIs to configure the (synaptics) touchpads.
