XMMS play list not support chinese font

Hi Guys,

Did anyone know how to solve the chinese font issue on XMMS playlist? All my chinese song title became funny symbols. I have tried a lot of ways but the problem still occur. I try to enable the Use fontsets in the preferences, but then all my funny symbols gone, I not even see my song's title.

Please Assist me!

The problem is that xmms depends on gtk1 which doesn't support UTF-8. You should switch to a more modern player. If you like the look and feel of xmms, try bmp, bmpx or audacious which are gtk2 ports of xmms.

I think I will try for Beep Media Player... I quite familiar with it! Thanks any way...
