lxqt defaut command for increasing luminosity failing

Hi,

lxqt defaut command for increasing luminosity is "lxqt-config-brightness -i". It does not work on a lenovo thinkpad x395 here, whereas "lxqt-config-brightness -d" indeed decreases luminosity.
I solve using brightnessctl set +10% and brightnessctl set 10%-, but I'd like to understand more about the lxqt way to change screen luminosity.

This tool changes brightness and gamma of your screen. It is a X11 tool. LibKScreen can not change brightness or gamma yet.

Are you running on X11 ?

Please post the outputs of

$ lxqt-config-brightness -v
$ lxqt-config-brightness -i
$ lxqt-config-brightness -d
