[REQUEST] brother-hll2320d

Hi there,

This is the driver for the printer that I am currently using, seems the one in AUR is outdated (last update 2015-07-12 14:10 (UTC))

The driver on Brother's site was updated on 04/24/2026

LPR printer driver (rpm package) This is LPR printer driver. 04/24/2026 (3.2.0-2) 0.04MB
CUPSwrapper printer driver (rpm package) This is CUPSwrapper printer driver. 04/27/2026 (3.2.0-2) 0.03 MB

Can I request the PKGBUILD to have the following changes:

1.

pkgver=3.2.0_2

2.

md5sums=(
  '2a7e65c1773997dad5db4b83c6ced095'
  'f6d4b52955e26ef9293d48f58d0fb24f'
)

I tested this and it's working on my machine.

You should ideally post this on the package's page on the AUR, but I assume you don't have an AUR account, and account registrations are currently disabled due to ongoing attacks against the AUR. That being the case try emailing the maintainer directly (the PKGBUILD should have the maintainer's contact information in the header).
