[RESOLVED] new intel-ucode update -> machine-breaking reboots

this has already been reported upstream so hopefully if you have an intel core ultra laptop you're already aware but just in case:

had to get the good ol' chroot to downgrade and fix this on my framework 13, that was a fun afternoon~

edit: they've reverted the commit for now so the new pkg (dated 12 Aug) shouldn't break anyone's systems. c:

From the Github issue - you can boot by adding dis_ucode_ldr to your boot parameters, if you like me don't have a live USB nearby.

yeah hope to see an actual fix, but nice for folks casually hitting that -Syu to not be hitting a machine-breaking issue anymore haha.
