The firmware crashed, I'd first look at the circumstances (ie. pot. triggers), ie. your journal.
In doubt post your complete system journal for the boot after such drop-uots

systool -vm iwlmvm; systool -vm iwlwifito see whether your parameter is actually applied and/or power saving is maybe enabled in iwlwifi

No signs of dual booting, no concurrent network daemons. No roaming - your wifi connection rather seems to survive the reset.
What ironically sticks out is

I have disabled bluetooth:
blacklist btusb
blacklist bluetooth
I read somewhere that there could be RF interference between bluetooth and wifi since they are on the same chip. This did not help. I left it disabled because I am not using bluetooth for anything.
The connection survives but there is serious lag for some tens of seconds.

Bluetooth /can/ interfere on 2.4GHz but you should either rfkill the chip or disable it in the BIOS.

You could test the behavior of older firmware - *moving* away /usr/lib/firmware/iwlwifi-Qu-c0-jf-b0-77.ucode.zst will make you use -74 and so on.

Also "iwlwifi.swcrypto=1" might be worth a shot (traffic encryption will then happen on the CPU, ath9 used to have that as systematic problem) and "iwlwifi.debug=0xffffffff" might provide further hints about the context (by spamming your journal)

rfkill shows that bluetooth is (soft) blocked. I have not found anything in bios to disable it at the hardware level.
I have tried swcrypto but it complains that it cannot be set to software:

The chip active but uncontrolled by a driver (or firmware) might be an issue.

Based on dmesg was referring to iwlwifi crashes that this thread started with. So, none of the 11n_disabled settings helped wifi.

Yes, but if it had worked, I wouldn't have the wifi stalls. But no change.
I have now bluetooth enabled, all module options removed. I had did those changes a long time ago because of wifi instability but I bet a lot has changed in
the driver since then. So, starting from the beginning and hoping for the best...

I wonder if it works with another network/access point. Since you are using NetworkManager, do you get different results using iwd? It's really odd that Intel wifi does not work properly.

My AP runs openwrt (linux). Anyway, I ended up ordering a small (physical size) USB WIFI dongle for the laptop. Next time no intel wifi for me. Anyway, thanks guys for your help!
