Enabling swap from USB media disk(solved)

After booting into ram,  USB media disks are recognized when inserted.  If the media disk is formatted linux swap, there is no indication of the disk in the listings of media because swap is not listed.

The question is; after inserting the media device, how does the user enable swap from such media disk?

The disk swap is recognized if it is inserted before booting to ram but if it is inserted after the system is up, swapon commands are required.

What command is needed for this function?

Swapon /dev/sdxx  seems to do the job!

Did not work for me at first trial....
