Help using fprint with my Validity VFS7500 Touch Fingerprint Sensor

I have successfully added fprint to my /etc/pam.d/system-local-login and have libfprint installed however when I try to enroll my finger using fprint-enroll the following error is outputted

Impossible to enroll: GDBus.Error:net.reactivated.Fprint.Error.NoSuchDevice: No devices available

Here is what is outputted by lsusb:

(I use Thinkpad P50 in case that helps)
