Vesktop does not detect my steam activity.

Greetings!

I've been using arch linux for quite some times now. no serious problem yet i cannot seem to figure why vesktop won't show my steam activity whether it's a games with native support or games that requires a proton.  i've tried running vesktop from terminal and seems that nothing is wrong.

APPIMAGE env is not defined, current application is not an AppImage
Vesktop v1.6.7
Disabled Chromium features: WinRetrieveSuggestionsOnlyOnDemand, HardwareMediaKeyHandling, MediaSessionService, WaylandWpColorManagerV1
[arRPC > ipc] listening at /run/user/1000/discord-ipc-0
[arRPC > websocket] listening on 6463
[arRPC > process] started

i use vesktop-bin from AUR, not a flatpak. i would appreciate any guidance and i look forward for any replies!.
