[SOLVED] Flickering white horizontal lines on Intel Core Ultra 5 125H

Hi all,
Just sharing a solution in case anyone else with an Intel Meteor Lake laptop (Core Ultra 5 125H / Intel Arc Graphics, Lenovo 83GM) experiences rapid flashing horizontal white lines/scanlines on the built-in eDP display (Samsung 0x4187).

The flickering is caused by Intel's Panel Self Refresh (PSR) and the newer Panel Replay feature desynchronizing when waking up for small screen updates.

Disabling both PSR and Panel Replay fixes the issue completely.

1. Add the following kernel parameters to your bootloader options (e.g., in /boot/loader/entries/... or GRUB):

i915.enable_psr=0 i915.enable_panel_replay=0

2. (Optional, if loading via initramfs) Add to /etc/modprobe.d/i915.conf:

options i915 enable_psr=0 enable_panel_replay=0

And rebuild your initramfs:

sudo mkinitcpio -P

After rebooting, the artifacts disappeared completely. Hope this helps someone!
