Can't make test print on CUPS

Whenever I try to do a test print using any application it is giving an error in pdftopdf filter.

I tested using both system-config-printer and CUPS web interface.

But it prints other documents fine. E.g pdf on firefox, etc.

However, it is very annoying and time consuming because it is the normal way of how most administrators are used to test printers on first time during printer installation.

It was also giving me hard time since I am working in an on-demand printing environment and needs everything to be set up quicker

This is related to arch based distros btw

There have been issues with the cups-filters package recently, what version of it are you using ?

I was using the latest version shipped with manjaro and cachyos. Would post the exact version number whenever possible

Sorry my bad. It seems like cachyos and manjaro hadn't yet merged those changes in their repositories. Since when I tried updating, it says already up-to-date

manjaro/cachyos is not Arch and is not supported here.
