Pending adoption request for orphaned package cicada-shell

Hi,
I recently submitted an adoption request for the orphaned AUR package cicada-shell:
AUR package: cicada-shell.
Upstream project: mitnk/cicada on GitHub.
The package has been orphaned for quite a while and is still at version 0.9.38-1 in the AUR.
I already have an updated and working PKGBUILD ready for version 1.2.5, and I have tested the package locally.

I understand that package adoption now requires approval from a Package Maintainer, but I thought the process might be a bit quicker for a package that has already been orphaned for a long time.
My adoption request is still pending, so I was wondering how long these requests usually take to be reviewed.

The adoption request for cicada-shell was filed on 2026-09-17 15:18 (CEST), which is a near zero delay.

Usually requests are processed in the weekend (during the PM's free time, if available), so there's not any relevant delay. At the current time there are more than 450 pending requests to evaluate and process in the queue, so please be patient, there's nothing wrong nor any urgency for the cidada-shell request.
