Can't play videos in browser on Hyprland

It used to work but for some reason it stopped. Now when I try watching something, it freezes at the first frame and doesn't progress further. No idea what else I can say

Specifics on your HW, the hyprland configuration, what browser, what video, whether it's related to HW accelerated playback, whether it happens w/ eg. mpv and other compositors that hyprland (or X11) would be a start.
And of course what was updated before the break and whether you can pin it to a specific problem.
