Touchscreen not detected

I am on a Surface Laptop 3. I was following the installation instructions on the Surface Laptop Github; when I got to the touchscreen step, things weren't working. I ran the

sudo iptsd-calibrate $(sudo iptsd-find-hidraw)

command and got the output

DEVICE is required
Run with --help for more information.

I was confused because my touchscreen still worked when I was on Windows; I am unsure why it is now not working. My touchscreen works in the UEFI menu but I didn't see any options to enable/disable the touchscreen in said menu.

Any help would be appreciated!
