MT7902: Bluetooth works, wifi no :(

In the past neither the bluetooth or wifi works, but now bt does, i've found that the driver is now supported so idk whats happening.

❯ uname -r
7.2.9-arch1-1
❯ pacman -Q linux linux-firmware
linux 7.2.9.arch1-1
linux-firmware 20260916-1
❯ lspci | grep -iA3 -E "network|bluetooth"
0000:02:00.0 Network controller: MEDIATEK Corp. MT7902 802.11ax PCIe Wireless Network Adapter [Filogic 310]

lsusb -vd 014c3:

But

Is there a parallel windows installation?
=> 3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.

Re: MT7902: Bluetooth works, wifi no :(

lsusb returns nothing, again

I ran this in windows: powercfg /H off (the bios setting is off too), then did like 3-4 restarts booting into windows11 and linux

I did the journalctl command again: https://termbin.com/2bdm

Re: MT7902: Bluetooth works, wifi no :(

Oct 07 16:23:10 archlinux kernel: pci 0000:02:00.0: [14c3:7902] type 00 class 0x028000 PCIe Endpoint

The device is still there but probably indeed just not supported by the LTS kernel and the timeouts unrelated.
Have you tried to disable ASPM w/ the 7.2.9 kernel?

You can also try https://pkgbuild.com//~gromit/linux-bis … kg.tar.zst

Re: MT7902: Bluetooth works, wifi no :(

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman … l_commands
It's the 5th release candidate of 7.3 and maybe performs better since support for the device seems genuinely new.

so that seems slightly newer than your copy?
