Can't write to NTFS partition [RESOLVED]

I want to use an NTFS partition to contain all of my data.
I created a directory in ~ and mounted the NTFS partition to that directory.
I can read it but I can't write to it.
How do I get NTFS write support?  Do I have to manually load a kernel module or something like that?

Is this considered safe/stable yet?

Holy necrobump batman, this question and it's resolution comes up more than would be necessary but it's a first that it is accompanied by a 10 year necrobump

Please don't do that https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Co … bumping.22

Closing.
