k3b, filesystems and a dvd player

Hi!

Im using k3b to burn a dvd with 6 movies... just one have less than 31 characters, and the subtitles .srt for it works ok
but the other 5 have more than 31 characters, and my dvd player do not "join" the video file with the .srt file... so, I have no subtitles there...
(I do not know why... if the player trim the video name file, and the srt name file... its the same "combination" at the end...)

I tried a lot of system files combinations, and none of them works at all

well I can rename all files to 31 characters or les... but... why?
(I have burned things like this in windows, and worked ok)

Any idea?

There's an option in K3B to allow file names with longer than 31 characters. I don't remember exactly where it is, but I know that it's one of the options that you can select from within the burning dialog.
