Re: [request] Pidgin

Yeah, it is still at 1.5 for stable and 2.0.0beta6 for developer-versions. I think we can live with the "gaim" package until they release 2.0.0-final.

Re: [request] Pidgin

works for me.

as for pidgin, don't request it, when it's released, it will go straight into the repos, with replaces=() set for gaim, and it will have plugins all renamed to pidgin too.

Re: [request] Pidgin

libnm_glib_nm_state_cb: dbus returned an error.
(org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown) The name org.freedesktop.NetworkManager was not provided by any .service files
The program 'gaim' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadIDChoice (invalid resource ID chosen for this connection)'.
  (Details: serial 321 error_code 14 request_code 1 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Re: [request] Pidgin

I have do this too, ok but, now i have enable in pidgin, but in evolution, in preference, i always see the word "gaim" in contact part.
So i think evolution must be rebuild too, and for pidgin too, i search a patch for add it in nautilus-sendto, i have find this http://nosnilmot.com/patches/ but this seems don't work and i don't know programation.
could you help me for report this for next update of evoltion, nautilus-sendto and pidgin?
Or could you help me with making pkgbuild?
thank, sorry for my english

Re: [request] Pidgin

that patch doesn't even look like its for pidgin, it's a patch for a patch for nautilus-sendto. (did they make any sense? :s)
