Menu editing doesn't work.

Hi.

The Gnome edit menus option has packed in. Initially it didn't record deselection ; I remembered that this might be due to bad permissions on a directory in my /home directory and this was the case.

It now records deselection but the menu options are still present in the Gnome menu. Any ideas ?

I guess, you want a graphical solution. I found them all to be lacking, but editing the menu defintition files is working. Arch usually saves a local copy in ~/.config/menus and you can find the hooks to global files therein or just overwrite them for a single user.
