Hi I am running Arch 0.8 (Voodoo) and I am trying to get Beryl to work with XGL and KDE using wiki and forum information as well as trawling through Goolge to try and get . I followed the XGL wiki and got XGL installed via Method 2 of the KDE section of the XGL wiki. I have gone through the wiki for Beryl and read and try to use some of the forum threads information to try and resolve my issue. I am using FGLRX as I have a Ati X550 PCI-E. I installed the Beryl-kde package and can get Beryl settings working but when I launch Beryl Manager it loads up up but I don't get the splash screen and the ruby icon just sits in the tray, when I tried this via the shell I get the message "Found not compatible Windows manager, waiting....". Do I need to uninstall the beryl Package and install the Beryl-XGL package which has been suggested in some of the forum threads here, if I do where can I find it as I have already looked in the AUR and also gone and checked the Package listings on the Arch main apge and which repo do you suggest I need to activate in /etc/pacman.d and pacman.conf ?
Thanks
Tom
