Using Keytouch??

Hi,

I have been trying to get my laptop's media hotkeys working for weeks now, using all the tools (xev, checking dmesg, keytouch, lineakd etc.).  Now, I have found a solution and I am now receiving a response from acpi_listen.  I have used the keytouch editor to create a keyboard file, but it says my keycode entries are empy.  What do I enter here?  And how can I get keytouch / these keys which are detected by acpi in xfce?

Thanks

Re: Using Keytouch??

if a keycode is not automatically detected (most are and called like MAIL, PROG1, NEXTSONG) you need to choose an appropriate one in keytouch-editor when creating the keyboard file. It really does not matter that much how you call a key, but, for example, keytouch automatically gives the button with keycode MAIL the function to launch your mail client.
