xmame x11

i want to compile xmame with x11 support by default. the sdl version in the repo doesn't work for me (run very slow)  how i can modify the PKGBUILD to build the x11 mame version???

xmame is not updated anymore, have you tried sdlmame from AUR ? Runs a lot better for me, but certain mame frontends (gxmame, kxmame) aren't compatible.

anyway, you have to edit makefile.unix.patch which should reside in the same directory as the PKGBUILD.
remove the # in line 38 and add one in line 42 (lazy solution) - don't forget to update/remove the md5sum in the PKGBUILD.
