deactivate touchpad, if mouse is put in

hello!

my question is very simple, but the acpid does not show anything and i have no other idea to realize that. can i do it with the help of udev? would be nice.

Put
Option "SHMConfig" "on"
in the synaptics section of xorg.conf. Then you'll need to write a udev rule to switch off the touchpad (with synclient) when the mouse is plugged in. I guess that'll work. You can also check the synaptics man page to see if there's not already an option to do that.
