TwinView default monitor

Howdy- I've successfully set up TwinView with my 2 LCD screens. My setup is as follows:

Left: 17" LCD monitor connected to VGA
"Right": 22" LCD monitor connected to DVI. This is really more center in front of me & my keyboard.

My problem is that the 17" monitor shows up as default... IE- gdm login screen shows up on left and all of my gnome panel stuff shows up on the left. I would like to make my Right (22") monitor the default monitor for all of these things. I anticipate turning off the smaller 17" monitor from time to time...

Any advice?

You can define which is the primary monitor with the following configuration under the device section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Option "TwinViewXineramaInfoOrder" "DFP"

Valid options are CRT,DFP and TV. An analogue connected LCD display is still referred to as a "CRT".  By default, the nVidia driver will treat the CRT as the primary display. Specifying the above configuration line will tell the nVidia driver to use the DFP (Digital Flat Panel) as the primary display. In the event that you have two CRT displays, you can address them as either CRT-0, CRT-1. The same is true for other display types.
