C7180 scanner problem

Hi,

I have a C7180 Multi function printer which I am having problems scanning.  I have installed SANE, and HPLIP but when I do a SCANIMAGE -L my scanner doesnt show.  The printer appears on the HPLIP compatibility list.

Any ideas anyone?

Have you tried adding your user to the scanner group?
usermod -Gscanner yourusername
