Gnome Mount Problem

I´m having a little issue conecernig Gnome and mounted Volumes. Not sure, but it might be since the move from /opt to /usr.

Problem is that Gnome mounts some of my Partitions two times, naming the second "xxxx (2)". Both link to /mnt/xxxx as specified in fstab. There is no such behaviour in KDE or Xfce. It´s a little annoying since there are a lot of icons on my desktop right now that i don´t need at all.

I don´t know where to start here so i appreciate any help.

Re: Gnome Mount Problem

I've also experienced this issue with a ext3 partition. I noticed it started happening since the upgrade to Gnome 2.18.

Re: Gnome Mount Problem

I had the problem for a while (my workaround was to remove the entries in fstab), then it disapeared. No I have the same issue with Ubuntu (Feisty).
