Very well written, honest in any way and shows up all the disadvantages as well as the advantages.
It really gives a realistic picture of what Arch is like, just to state that for all those users who aren't capable of reading German.

Was a little busy before and haven't even read the whole article before.
I agree with chaosgeisterchen and Ingo Becker, the author of the review.
There is only one point i disagree with Ingo: he writes about current problems with Arch-mirrors. (the throtteling of the official mirror is misinterpreted as overload and the author has expirienced corrupt packages on a certian mirror)

Very nice review indeed. The points stated there are those, why I love Arch and it still is my only distribution

Good to see ...
@ Sigi: From now on, please post such news to the german forum, too.

@ tlaloc: No way. I'm already "wasting" far too much time surfing the web for IT-News or hanging around in this forum. Sorry

@sigi:
There are indeed problems, one cannot negate that. At least for a bunch of users, there are.

@ Sigi: It's your decision, and I will not criticize that. On the other hand, I don't really see if this brings Arch any further.

@ tlaloc: I prefer to help spreading Arch otherwise. My idea was to inform other Arch users (mainly NON native german speakers) that there is another nice Arch review. I assumed that people generally interested in Linux (german speakers) stumbled over this review on one of the (as far as I know) best known Linux websites (again, for german speakers) anyway.
@ choasgeisterchen: ok, agreed.

Hi,
thanks for your positive feedback regarding the review i wrote on prolinux. I hope this helps a bit making arch more known to others and perhaps it persuades someone to use/try it.
@tlaloc: there was a post about this review on the german board (archlinux.de) in the early morning after the night it was published..
