Screensaver doesn't start automatically using Beryl

Hi.

Couldn't find any working solutions on google or on the forums, so I'm posting this.

First, my KDE screensavers wouldn't start automatically. The only started when I "tested" them. Enabling display power management under Control Center -> Pheripherals -> Display fixed the problem.

Now, I installed XGL/Beryl. Same problem (and this time the power management is already enabled). I set a non-OpenGL screensaver to start automatically after 1 minute, but it never does, only when I test it. In this case, it runs normally.

I'm running (all current):
x86_64 amd turion
ATI Radeon Xpress video card
KDE
XGL
Beryl

I don't know what else info I should post here, since it doesn't seem to be a driver / xorg config issue.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Re: Screensaver doesn't start automatically using Beryl

Solved. I found out that XGL (or Beryl) doesn't agree much with KDE screensavers, so I'm using xscreensaver now. Works fine.
