Xfce and Icons

Hey.

I downloaded some icons for xfce and untared them and shoved them into /usr/share/icons. The icons are blue but when i loaded them using the xfce 'user interface' management tool they are orange (the same color as my desktop pattern - coincidence?). I've gone in and checked the icons and they are most certainly still blue. I'm not really that bothered about it - infact i quite like them orange, but when i go to fix a couple of icons that haven't had their icons changed, I can't change them to orange ones - just the blue ones that are there.

Tried searching to see if this was a cool feature, but i haven't come across anything yet.

Any info anyone?
