Error no mkcue abcde ripper

abcde -M
which: no mkcue in /bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/opt/bin:/opt/gnome/bin:/opt/java/jre/bin:/opt/kde/bin:/opt/mozilla/bin:/opt/qt/bin)
abcde error: mkcue is not in your path

Can anyone advise on this error. I searched for a mkcue package but could not find one for archlinux. Does one exist?

thanks

A link to the source for mkcue is found here:

Re: Error no mkcue abcde ripper

got the same a few years later big_smile

but there's mkcue in AUR.

still, this generates a "cue-xxx.txt" textfile ...

someone out here who knows about abcde'n'stuff?

I simply put into the config file

ACTIONS=cddb,read,encode,tag,move,clean,cue

this is the default + cue.

I  think I'm missing some mkcue options, but as there's no maual or help to that tool I do not know what to do.

ps. I'd like to create a log file as well. It says in the abcde manual:

-D Capture debugging information (you'll want to redirect this - try 'abcde -D 2>logfile')

the question would be: where to place that option in the conf file?

many thanx
