ATA Issues?

I just installed ArchLinux 0.8 under VMWare and it run fine, however during boot up I get a bunch of errors. The machine runs fine and all, but it spends 10-20 seconds displaying these errors. Here are some of the errors in /var/log/errors.log:

The rest (~1,000 lines) are more or less the same thing. I searched Google for a solution but I couldn't find anything. Could someone help me? big_smile

How have you configured the virtual machine in VMware?  And what VMware are you running?  (as in version, is it workstation or server, etc)

Switch it so it is not connected on power, see if that fixes it.

But to be honest, I wouldn't worry too much about it, because VMware does do some funny things.
