Hi guys,
I've just installed Arch64 on my desktop computer (I have the 32 bit version on my Core Duo laptop). On the laptop I use NeroLinux 3.0 (beta) and I would like to use it even on my desktop. I tried the package in AUR and it works but the program doesn't work. When I start it up it shows many errors about conversion from UTF-8 to ISO8896-1 and then tells me that the output will be ugly. It shows me a little window with all "squared" characters and two buttons. When I click the one that is active the programs closes.
I installed linux32, lib32-gcc and lib32-gtk2... how can I make it work?
Bye, Axel.

Well, I know this problem. See http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=30221 Seems as if there are some additional config files needed for some gtk2-apps.
If someone know how to fix this, let me know. ;-)
PS: Better use K3B :-)

This works for me.
GREAT! It works!!!
Ok, maybe it's a little "extreme" and it uses double HDD space but it works!!! I've also installed Galeon with Java and Flash plugins.
When I start NeroLinux with "dchroot -d nero" it starts and then it says that /proc and /sys are not correctly mounted; it's normal?
Thank you so much!

hmm no. You have to follow the part "/etc/rc.d/arch32 rc script" in http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arc … bit_system. And add it to your DAEMONS in rc.conf
This will mount /sys and /proc everytime you boot

Yes, I did. Moreover, when I type "ls /opt/arch32/sys" or "ls /opt/arch32/proc" it shows exactly the same result as "ls /sys" and "ls /proc" respectively. However I tried burning an Audio CD and a Video DVD and everything works perfectly.
I hope Ahead and Lacie get along for LightScribe and NeroLinux 3 come out as soon as possible even for the x86-64 platform...
