arch keeps creating folders by itself. Solved

Hi,
I installed Voodoo on an IBM T30 and it's doing a weird thing.
Every 30 seconds or so it acts like I've done a right click on my desktop and creates a new untitled folder.
At one stage I had 26 untitled folders sitting there. It's just created 3 new ones while I'm writing this roll
I'm a newbie and have no idea what's going on. Is there something I need to re-install?
Everything else works great.
Any ideas would be great
Thanks
hmm:)

Re: arch keeps creating folders by itself. Solved

Yes, sorry,
I have gnome and gnome extra installed
I have 256 ram on the laptop
AtI radeon card which seems to be configured OK with xorgconfig
No errors on bootup. Do you need more info?
regards
smile
edit: new prob.
I went to create a bookmark in Firefox and after I typed the first 2 letters the whole desktop locked up.
edit#2 after about 10 mins the desktop free'd up and I could type in the rest of the bookmark then when I hit OK it take 5 mins to create the bookmark.
Could it be faulty ram or something wrong with the keyboard? Or what?
