Xen 3.0.4

The package is in community repo but I haven't been able to find any information about the kernel. The package provides basic kernel (xen-3.0.4-1) but not the dom0 one... how can I build it? Is there a PKGBUILD I can use or should I do it manually. Thanks.

Re: Xen 3.0.4

I've installed it and am in a similar boat - I'd almost prefer if it were NOT in the community packages as now I've spent time trying to figure out what it _IS_ rather than get on with migrating an old Gentoo Xen system to an Arch based system.

Myself, I'm going to build dom0 from scratch, and will hope to be able to build an appropriate domU which is Arch based afterward.

Mind you, my attempts to build a domU from Arch have proven somewhat crap, but I am now doing it in a virtual machine under Parallels on osX rather than on a remote Xen box (:  So, when it pukes, I'm not without other facilities (:

Re: Xen 3.0.4

I've managed to set a dom0 and many domU with Fedora Core 6. I own an Intel VT capable processor so I managed to get native virtualization for guests so I didn't need to set up a custom kernel for domU... it just worked. I also tried with debian, Gentoo and Ubuntu.

Until now I see no news about integration between Xen and Arch. I would be very interested in using this distro for my work but I just can't. sad
