gnome-games without gnome

Hi,
I would like to be able to play the gnome games but I don't want to install gnome completely. So I had pacman install the gnome-games and gnome-games-extra-data packages. Works fine for some games but others only give me the following error message:
"The default configuration values could not be retrieved correctly.
Please check your GConf configuration, specifically that the schemas have been installed correctly."
Now since I never used gnome I am not sure what "schemas" this error is telling me about. After reading gconftool-2 --help-schema I guess I know how to set a schema but how do I know which ones I have, do I have to install them, if so how? I can find gtk-engines but no gnome schemes..
Can someone help me on that one? I would like to be able to play Reversi and Mahjongg and so on again. big_smile
thx

Re: gnome-games without gnome

Thanks for the replies. Gconf is installed (pkg-name gconf, version 2.18.0.1-2), also I thought that 'pacman -S gnome-games-extra-data' would install everything necessary to run the games.
So I dunno if it is a configuration issue (again, I never used gnome as my DE and I don't know about those 'schemas') or missing dependencies. If it is missing dependencies, does anyone know what other packages I need? Cuz pacman says that all deps are installed.
