zombie evince

im using xfce and evince always turns into zombie after i close it, is it normal behavior ?

i think it happens when i open more than 1 pdf (or one with a big size), most likely some of them turns into zombies after i close it. are there anyway to kill zombies ? i have 4 zombies now

As i know they are already dead, but in Resident evil you killed them with a simple gun .
