Extra buttons on hp dv9000 series

Hi everyone.

Did anyone manage to get the special keys (adjust volume,...) on a hp pavilion dv9000 (or dv6000) series notebook working. If so, how?

Another question: Is anyone able to adjust the brightness via fn+function keys on these laptops? Do I need to install a special package?

Thanks for any hints because these are the only two things missing that this notebook _just_ works.

Try hotkeys-setup, this program isn't for HP normally but it work partially for me, I have retrieve some keys
