pacman not working anymore

[root@myhost /]# pacman -Syu   
:: Synchronizing package databases...
current is up to date
extra is up to date
community is up to date
:: Starting full system upgrade...
error: could not open file /var/lib/pacman/extra//cpudyn-1.0.1-1/desc: No such file or directory
local database is up to date

i searched for solution, but didn't find any hit.

Try cleaning you local cache with

pacman -Sccc

and then retry

pacman -Suy

Please excuse the mention of two downloads required before install of latest pacman-3....I'm sure you didn't miss that prerequisite....in the news data...

Delete that local dir and reinstall it:

rm -rf /var/lib/pacman/extra/cpudyn-1.0.1-1
pacman -Sy cpudyn
