USB Printing issues

I have a lexmark Z33 and had to download the driver from them and the foomatic-kit also.  When i try to run the foomatic kit installation the following output occurs:

Can't locate Foomatic/Defaults.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at /usr/sbin/foomatic-kitload line 3.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/sbin/foomatic-kitload line 3.

I know this isn't really for this forum but i was wondering where that file might be.
I have installed the foomatic stuff with pacman and i have also searched for that file manally, any help would be much appreciated. smile

Thanx

Re: USB Printing issues

FWIW, try LinuxPrinting.org for lot's of info regarding printers. After doing a little research on a usb Lexmark I have (doanted by a friend who was trying to be helpful.) I think you may find what you need to know here.

The error itself is a PERL error although that may not help you much.

I am curious as to where you got Linux drivers from. Lexmark doesn't support OSS.
