Failed to startx after Syu

Hello there

After a system upgrade i cannot start my X server using the nvidia drivers...

Here is how things are...

I'm using the nvidia-96xx drivers
I have IgnorePkg kernel26
I'm runnin 2.6.20-ARCH kernel
and using tha last working config (yesterday's config worked perfectly before upgrade)

Is there any conflict with the updated nvidia and my old kernel?

Now i'm runnin X with the "vesa" driver

Pleas help me !

If you blacklist the kernel you have to do the same with all its modules. In other words: the current nvidia package is compile against linux 2.6.21.

are you suggesting to upgrade the kernel and reinstal the drivers?

I'm use 8500GT card ,use Nvidia beta dirver
