Using Pacman

Im actuall in the middle of my first Arch install and I had a question.

Is Pacman a commandline-only package manager, or is there a graphical frontend? (i.e. apt-get via Synaptic)

Re: Using Pacman

Hello, use the command line to start, because since you are in a middle of an installation, you will not have a working X smile

Re: Using Pacman

There are user-contributed GUI front-ends available for pacman. For a listing, please refer to: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=14849
