Is there any config file or tool to configure HAL to ignore certain devices? I don't want all my partitions to be automounted. Also, what's the difference between HAL and AutoFS?
Thanks in advance for your answers

Ok..I will further explain this. I have 4 main partitions (3 logical, 1 extended), which contain WinXP, Documents,Music, and Linux(extended, / and swap). I don't know what's happening but HAL is mounting my WinXP, Documents and Music partition AND also mounting 2 more partitions: an "1.0KB Volume" and "19.5GB VOLUME" (which is the size of my / partition). Is this correct? Is there any way to fix this issue?, is there i can modify this so it will only show only the partitions I select?
Also, I seem to be having a problem, HAL seems to mount ntfs partitions as ntfs-3g, and when I try to access it, it says ntfs-3g is not supported by my system, of course because it is not installed. As I only need this partition read-only, how can I modify HAL settings so the fs is stated "ntfs" not "nts-3g"?
Thanks in advance for your help
