Arch don't detect and automount disks

When I insert a disc nothing happen.

What is the problem?

currently I mount/umount with sudo.

have you tried hal? install it and add it to daemons and it will automount your cd's and portable storage. http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HAL

Arch is not Ubuntu, if you would automount, you must configure it correctly
